Strays
VOD — Sep 5

From the same minds behind Ted and Sausage Party, Strays isn’t your typical talking dog movie. There’s no happy owner, instead there’s just Doug. The beer-guzzling, abusive jerk wants nothing to do with his dog and ultimately abandons him in the city streets. Reggie vows revenge by teaming up with a pack of strays to get revenge… by literally biting his penis off. Yeah, this pet movie is certainly NOT for kids.
The Adults
Apple TV Plus — Sep 5

Eric (starring Michael Cera) has a somewhat strained relationship with his sisters, one more so than the other. When a trip brings him back home he plans to stay as short a timeframe as possible, but soon things become more complicated as he reconnects with his sister. All the while, he’s balancing his own addiction to poker and gambling.
The Little Mermaid
Disney Plus — Sep 6

The classic 80s animated film gets a major makeover in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. While most of the story remains the same as the original, there have been some changes that help modernize and expand the story such as giving Prince Eric a deeper back story. While some decisions like the designs for Schutle and Flounder have been met with mixed reception, overall this is a great film worthy of a watch.
